Dr. Amy Hollen, MD
Dr. Amy grew up locally in Forest Hills.  She graduated from Michigan State University with an undergrad and then attended their College of Human Medicine.  She completed her residency in Rockford, IL.  She has been practicing medicine for over 19 years in West Michigan.  She is board certified and belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Amy's philosophy to medicine: She believes that the best approach to overall health starts with a good understanding of why and how we are planning to treat the underlying health issue.
Jill Schmidt, PA-C
Jill grew up in the Mid-Michigan area of Mount Pleasant.  She graduated from the University of Michigan with an undergrad in biology then attended Wayne State University pursing her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. She has been practicing medicine for over 19 years in West Michigan, varying from Family Practice to Emergency Medicine.  Jill was a previous employee of Family Care Center under Dr. Scott Carlson and has since transitioned with the rest of the team to our new practice.

Jill's philosophy to medicine: She believes health care decisions and treatments are a team effort; therefore, she will take the time to educate and discuss your health concerns with you. Her focus is geared toward caring for young children, young adults and women's health issues.
Dana Marino, FNP-BC
Dana Marino FNP-BC is a Grand Rapids native.  Olivet Nazarene University is where she earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing, as well as a B.S. in Social Services.  Dana completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Valley State University.  It was during her time at GVSU that Dana was inducted into the National Honor Society of Nursing for Community Engagement.  She has been working in the health field for over 24 years.  Nineteen of those years as a Nurse Practitioner with experience in both in-patient and out-patient settings, such as Family Medicine & Women’s Health, College & Adolescent Health, as well as Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine.  She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, as well as the American College Health Association.

Dana's philosophy to medicine: Dana’s philosophy is that you should “treat the person not the disease”; meaning what works for one person doesn’t mean it will work for everyone, so you need to know the person you are treating.  Dana also believes that she is just a member of a team which includes the patient and the patient’s network of support.  She is there to provide guidance and education in order to make informed decisions that best impact your health.  Having experience in functional medicine, Dana appreciates attempting treatment from a holistic approach when reasonable to do so.  She also enjoys young adults and women’s health issues.
